The latest teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 confirms the arrival of a new Zombies map, Shattered Veil, with the launch of Season 3.  This follows a series of cryptic images released by Treyarch Studios, offering glimpses into the next chapter of the undead saga.

Black Ops 6 has already delivered four new Zombies maps, each offering unique challenges and environments.  Following the Season 2 launch map, The Tomb,  Shattered Veil marks the fifth map addition and continues the game's commitment to expanding its popular Zombies mode.

Treyarch Studios recently teased the new Zombies map on their official Twitter account. The image showcased the map's name, Shattered Veil, against a blurred backdrop, alongside the caption "Season 3." This confirms the map's release alongside Black Ops 6's third major update, much to the excitement of Zombies fans.

Launching on April 3rd with Season 3, Shattered Veil becomes the fifth Zombies map for Black Ops 6 since its October 2024 release.  The initial teaser, released on March 11th, revealed the map's setting: Edward Richter's Liberty Falls mansion. Subsequent teasers have hinted at connections to the wider Zombies lore and the significant role of the Dark Aether, particularly regarding the highly anticipated Black Ops 6 Zombies Easter eggs.

These teasers corroborate insider rumors and official confirmations from Treyarch about Shattered Veil's content.  Following the pattern of previous Zombies maps, Shattered Veil is expected to introduce new Perk-a-Colas like Double Tap, Mule Kick, and Tombstone, alongside additions such as the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod and Frost Blast Field Upgrade. The mansion setting may also see the return of the beloved Wunderwaffe DG-2 Wonder Weapon.  While the presence of Amalgams and Abominations has been ruled out,  the possibility of new Elite enemies remains.
