Valve president and co-founder, Gabe Newell, has revealed his recent gaming obsession: STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.  His endorsement further cements the game's global recognition and growing popularity.

Known for occasionally responding to fan emails, Newell allegedly replied to a recent inquiry about his current gaming pursuits.  A screenshot circulating on Twitter, purportedly from Newell, states, "A bunch of STALKER 2." While this interaction aligns with Newell's history of fan engagement, its authenticity could not be independently verified.

The circulated message also suggests Newell was nearing completion of GSC Game World's post-apocalyptic shooter.  "I should get the fourth ending tomorrow," the alleged email reads, indicating Newell had already experienced a significant portion of the game's narrative. Achieving all four endings in STALKER 2 is a testament to dedication, requiring multiple playthroughs of the challenging final sequences.

Unlocking all of STALKER 2's endings is no small task, as even the simplest method requires replaying the demanding final section several times. Statistics show that even the most common ending was only achieved by a small percentage of players, further highlighting the accomplishment.  Even fewer players have likely witnessed all four possible conclusions.

Newell didn't specify which ending he was pursuing.  STALKER 2's endings are determined by choices made in the final stages of the game and can be obtained in any order. Players aiming for all endings without full replays can utilize manual saves before the final mission, reloading to explore different choices.

Having seemingly conquered STALKER 2, Newell hinted at exploring new gaming experiences. "I'll have to figure out what I'm going to play next," the purported email continued.  This revelation coincided with GSC Game World's announcement of impressive player numbers for STALKER 2, further solidifying the game's success.
