Capcom has publicly admitted to a crediting error in their recent hit, Monster Hunter Wilds. The voice actor for the character Roqul in Azuz was incorrectly listed, overlooking Ben Balmaceda's contribution. This oversight, while not unheard of, highlights Capcom's commitment to rectifying the situation.

The company has issued an apology via social media and assured fans that the credits will be amended in the upcoming Free Title Update 1, scheduled for release in early April. While the mistake in such a highly anticipated game is unfortunate, Capcom's proactive approach to resolving the issue is commendable.

Released in February to critical acclaim, Monster Hunter Wilds quickly achieved commercial triumph, becoming Capcom's fastest-selling title.  Over eight million units were sold in just three days, solidifying its place as a major success.

Despite its generally positive reception, some fans have debated the game's difficulty, with opinions ranging from appropriately challenging to surprisingly manageable.  However, the consensus remains that the combat system is highly satisfying and contributes to the game's overall enjoyment.

One player's exploration of the game world revealed surprisingly interconnected areas, showcasing the map's impressive scale and design. This discovery has further fueled the positive discussions around the game's environment and overall experience.

The Free Title Update 1 marks the first major update for the game, although Capcom has diligently addressed various issues since launch. Previous patch notes detailed fixes for problems such as missing Meal Invitations, floating rubble, and a game-breaking bug in the "Omens" Mission in Chapter 5-1.

The game's success has also translated into internal recognition within Capcom.  Ryozo Tsujimoto, the senior producer of Monster Hunter Wilds, has recently been promoted to Chief Product Officer. Tsujimoto acknowledged the current positive climate, often referred to as Capcom's "golden age," and expressed the team's determination to maintain this momentum.
