Genshin Impact's 5.5 update is generating excitement, with leaks hinting at a new combat event and players eagerly anticipating the return of certain four-star characters. While details are still emerging, the community is abuzz with speculation and predictions.

A recent leak suggests a limited-time combat event will be a key feature of 5.5.  While specific details remain scarce, anticipation is high for a challenging and engaging event that will put players' combat skills to the test.

Perhaps even more anticipated than the event are the potential four-star character banners. A popular topic of discussion centers around which characters have been absent the longest and are therefore most likely to appear. Leading the pack is Yun Jin, the director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe, who hasn't been featured in eight updates. Known for her support capabilities that boost Normal Attack damage, many players are eagerly awaiting her return.

Tied for second place with seven missed banners are Freminet, Lynette, Beidou, Faruzan, and Layla. Freminet, the Cryo-wielding diver from Fontaine, is often overlooked as a main DPS, leading to his lower usage rate. Lynette, the Anemo sword user and Lyney's assistant, is a versatile sub-DPS and Elemental Mastery support, though some players feel her synergy with Lyney could be improved. Beidou, captain of The Crux, remains a favorite for her damage-reflecting Elemental Skill.  Faruzan, another Anemo character, is a valuable asset for teams built around Wanderer. Finally, Layla has become a highly sought-after Cryo support for her shielding and off-field Cryo application.
