Neuvillette's popularity and strength are undeniable. His versatile kit allows him to function effectively as both a DPS and a support, and his reliance on Charged Attacks creates a straightforward yet powerful playstyle.  His frequent appearances in the Spiral Abyss since his release speak volumes about his effectiveness.

Leaked information from the 5.5 beta indicates that the upcoming Spiral Abyss will directly counter Neuvillette's dominance.  While the exact chamber configurations remain unknown, rumors suggest both sides of the Abyss will feature enemies with high Hydro resistance or even immunity. This could lead to the return of challenging enemies like Hydro Heralds and Hydro Tulpas, compelling players to utilize alternative elements such as Electro or Dendro.
