The Nintendo Music app has expanded its library with a nostalgic addition: the complete soundtrack to the Nintendo 3DS's StreetPass Mii Plaza.  This collection of 39 tracks brings back the charm of the popular social feature, allowing fans to revisit the iconic themes and background music.

Released on February 17th, the StreetPass Mii Plaza album offers a generous hour and 23 minutes of music.  Notable tracks include the catchy Entrance theme and the familiar Find Mii title theme, both of which are available with the Extended-Playback feature, offering up to an hour of continuous listening.

StreetPass Mii Plaza was a central hub on the 3DS, connecting players through the StreetPass functionality.  This allowed users to exchange Mii avatars and engage in various activities, most notably the addictive Puzzle Swap minigame.  Players collected puzzle pieces from different Nintendo titles, such as Super Mario 3D World and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, to complete images.

While StreetPass itself has been discontinued,  StreetPass Mii Plaza holds a special place in the hearts of many 3DS owners.  The community has kept the spirit alive through organized meetups and conventions, ensuring that the green blinking light of StreetPass continues to shine.

To access this musical trip down memory lane, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required.  The Nintendo Music app, available on both iOS and Android devices, is a treasure trove of soundtracks from a variety of Nintendo franchises.  The addition of the StreetPass Mii Plaza OST comes hot on the heels of other recent additions, such as the Super Mario World OST.
