EA Sports and Codemasters have officially announced F1 25, the latest installment in their popular Formula One racing simulation series.  Launching on May 30, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, F1 25 promises a thrilling new season both on and off the track.

The franchise's rising popularity mirrors the resurgence of Formula One racing itself. Codemasters' officially licensed games stand out with their stunning visuals, realistic handling, and deep career modes, offering players an immersive experience of the high-octane world of F1. Building upon the success of previous entries, F1 25 aims to further capture the drama and excitement of the sport, much like the popular Netflix series 'Formula 1: Drive to Survive'.

May 30th marks a momentous occasion for F1 fans as they'll finally get their hands on the latest entry.  A recently released trailer provides a glimpse of what to expect, showcasing a mix of gameplay footage, cinematic sequences, and appearances by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

The biggest headline is Hamilton's in-game representation as a Ferrari driver, reflecting his highly anticipated move to the Scuderia for the 2025 season.  He's also the cover star of the Iconic Edition, offering early access starting May 27th, three days before the official launch.

Pre-ordering F1 25 unlocks a range of bonuses, including Hamilton-themed customization items in the Iconic Edition. This premium version also includes an exclusive "King of Silverstone" F1 World Event in F1 24, celebrating Hamilton's illustrious career.  Adding to the excitement, the Iconic Edition incorporates content inspired by the upcoming 'F1 The Movie' starring Brad Pitt, featuring playable Chapter Scenarios based on the film and a Team Pack inspired by the fictional APXGP team.
