Get ready, trainers! The pseudo-legendary Pokemon from the Johto region, Tyranitar, is making its debut as a Seven-Star Tera Raid boss in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

This formidable Armor Pokemon, known for its Rock and Dark typing, will challenge players in two separate event windows, providing ample opportunities to capture this powerful behemoth.

The first event runs from Thursday, March 27th, at 8:00 PM Eastern to Sunday, March 30th, at 7:59 PM Eastern.  A second chance arises the following weekend, from April 3rd to 6th, during the same time frame.

Tyranitar the Unrivaled enters the fray with a Ghost Tera type, presenting a unique strategic layer to the battle. Trainers who triumph over this formidable opponent will earn the prestigious Mightiest Mark.

Originally introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver, Tyranitar’s design draws inspiration from iconic kaiju like Godzilla. Its raw power is evident in devastating attacks like Stone Edge, Crunch, and Earthquake.

In this Tera Raid event, Tyranitar the Unrivaled appears at level 100 and boasts either the Sand Stream or Unnerve ability.  While these abilities might not pose a significant hurdle for seasoned trainers, its formidable physical attack and defense stats require careful consideration.

Prepare for Tyranitar to utilize moves like Shadow Claw, Breaking Swipe, and Low Kick, providing coverage against Ghost and Dark Pokemon, which are super-effective against its Ghost Tera type.
