Based on the results of a recent in-game survey conducted by Battlestate Games, developers of Escape From Tarkov are preparing to adjust the volume of rain within the game.  This comes after over 66% of surveyed players expressed dissatisfaction with the current rain sounds, finding them excessively loud.

The survey aimed to gather player opinions on Tarkov's dynamic weather system, including the frequency and intensity of rain and fog, the potential for seasonal changes in PvE, and the overall rate of weather transitions in the game world.

Key findings from the survey include:

• 40% of players disliked foggy conditions, while 7% expressed a dislike for clear weather.

• 53% of players would like to see the introduction of more extreme weather events.

• 53% of players want the ability to select specific seasons in PvE mode.

• 12% of players prefer no weather changes during gameplay.

Interestingly, 34% of players didn't mind the loud rain, leading to speculation that these players might prefer the tactical advantage it offers for stealthy gameplay.

Following a previous survey, Battlestate Games implemented numerous AI adjustments based on community feedback, refining enemy behavior in various scenarios.  Recent updates have addressed issues like enemies firing accurately through dense foliage and improved the realism of long-range engagements.
