Fortnite's Bizarre 'A Goat' Skin Returns: Pilgor's Back in the Item Shop

Fortnite's extensive history of collaborations welcomes back one of its most unusual skins: 'A Goat', featuring Pilgor from the Goat Simulator franchise. This anthropomorphic goat, known for its chaotic antics in Goat Simulator and Goat Simulator 3, stands out amidst Fortnite's diverse cast of characters.

Originally offered as a pre-order bonus for Goat Simulator 3 in late 2022, Pilgor's Fortnite debut marked a peculiar crossover. Now, this 'GOAT' of goat skins has returned to the Item Shop, accompanied by a fitting emote, 'GOATed'.

Celebrating Goat Simulator's 10th anniversary, the 'A Goat' skin is available for a limited time.  Priced at 1,200 V-Bucks, with the 'GOATed' Emote at 500, Pilgor sports a human-like muscular physique clad in denim jeans, a belt, and a white crop top bearing the initials 'RGDL' – a nod to the ragdoll physics central to the Goat Simulator experience.  The head is unmistakably goat-like, complete with a lolling tongue, googly eyes, horns, and an ear tag.

The bizarre combination of a goat's head atop a human body, both sharing a similar gray skin tone, contributes to the skin's perceived weirdness, which, ironically, fuels its appeal.  Pilgor's return coincides with another anticipated comeback: Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, albeit likely in a different iteration than her 2021 appearance.

While both Pilgor and the new Lara Croft skins require purchase, a free skin is on the horizon.  Fortnite players can acquire a Dupli-Kate skin from Invincible as part of the Spring Raid event starting March 14th.  With Fortnite's seemingly limitless capacity for collaborations, anticipation builds for the next wave of unexpected and outlandish skins.
