Creative Director Jonathan Dumont has recently confirmed that Kassandra, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, is still alive during the events of Assassin's Creed Mirage. This revelation comes despite the significant 2,000-year gap between the two games on the Assassin's Creed timeline.

In a recent interview with GameRant, Dumont stated, “Kassandra is very much active in this era (Feudal Japan). She’s somewhere in the world, lurking in the shadows.” This heavily suggests a potential cameo appearance for Kassandra in Mirage.

Kassandra's longevity is attributed to the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus, which granted her immortality, allowing her to exist throughout the entire Assassin's Creed timeline.  This isn't her first crossover appearance;  in 2021, she featured in a free crossover story update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
