Nintendo is celebrating Mario Day (March 10th, or Mar10) by offering gamers a free 14-day trial of its Nintendo Switch Online service.

This limited-time offer allows players to experience the benefits of an online subscription, including access to a library of classic games, online multiplayer in compatible titles like Splatoon 3, and more.

To claim the free trial, visit the official Nintendo website and redeem the offer before March 17th at 11:00 PM Pacific Time.  The trial code must be activated on a Nintendo Switch console by March 31st at 11:59 PM.

A highlight of the Mario Day festivities is a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe community challenge. Players with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription (including the free trial) and a copy of the game can participate.  The community goal is to collectively race a million laps, with a reward of 310 Platinum Points if achieved.
