Game designer Hideo Kojima has once again teased fans with hints of a new Death Stranding 2: On the Beach trailer.  The sequel to the 2019 hit, officially announced in 2022, has been generating buzz since rumors began circulating in 2020.  The game is set to feature returning actors Norman Reedus as Sam, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker, alongside newcomer Elle Fanning. With a projected 2025 launch, the gaming community anticipates confirmation of the release date soon.  A recent rating in Brazil suggests the game is nearing completion, further fueling speculation about a potential showcase at the upcoming SXSW panel, especially after its absence from Sony's February State of Play.

Kojima recently shared a photo on Twitter, showcasing himself working with a PlayStation 5 controller and mentioning "trailer editing and game building." This strongly suggests a new trailer is imminent, echoing a similar tease where Kojima shared an image of the "A Hideo Kojima Game" slide being edited.  Fans eagerly await the SXSW convention on March 9th, hoping for more news and insights.
