Gear up for the hunt! Capcom is giving Monster Hunter Wilds players a unique opportunity to earn free Armor Spheres through a limited-time social media quest. By rallying together and completing this challenge, players can gain a valuable head start in their hunting endeavors.

Launching on February 28th, Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest installment in Capcom's acclaimed Monster Hunter series.  Following a successful open beta period, where players earned rewards like the Stuffed Felyne Teddy pendant and the OBT 2 Bonus Item Pack, this new social media initiative offers another chance to acquire beneficial in-game items.

The quest, presented by Gemma, tasks players with using the hashtag #WildsArmorSpheres on social media. For every 1,000 posts using the hashtag before February 23rd at 10:00 PM EST, Capcom will add one Armor Sphere to the total reward pool, aiming for a grand total of 100,000 posts and 100 free Armor Spheres for each player.  Distribution details will be announced soon after the game launches.

This social media campaign offers a fantastic opportunity to acquire valuable Armor Spheres, which are essential for upgrading armor and enhancing your hunter's defenses.  These free spheres will be especially helpful in preparing for post-launch challenges, including the arrival of the formidable Mizutsune.

Similar to its predecessors, Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Wilds will receive post-launch updates featuring new event quests and content. One of the first major updates, slated for Spring 2025, will introduce the returning monster Mizutsune and a host of new quests.

While waiting for the game's release, PC players can utilize the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark tool available on Steam.  This tool allows players to test their system's performance and optimize settings for the best possible hunting experience.  Be sure to also check the updated system requirements to ensure your PC is ready to handle the wilds.
