The PlayStation Plus Premium classics catalog continues to expand, with the recent addition of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. This PS2 title joins the growing roster of enhanced retro games available through the subscription service.

PS Plus Premium has significantly improved its classics offerings over the last year, largely due to a revamped PS2 emulator.  Players can now enjoy PS1, PSP, and PS2 games with modern features like rewind, save states, improved resolution and framerate, and customizable video filters.  Crucially for trophy hunters, most of these classics also include trophy support, adding another layer of engagement for completionists.

Originally announced for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2003, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings faced a turbulent development cycle that ultimately led to its cancellation on those platforms.  Developer LucasArts later released the game on PS2, PSP, Wii, and DS in 2009, with each version boasting different campaigns and gameplay mechanics.
