Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gets New Multiplayer Playlist Ahead of Season 3

Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can dive into a fresh multiplayer experience with the arrival of a new playlist, offering a welcome distraction while they await the launch of Season 3 for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The Call of Duty franchise has consistently dominated the first-person shooter landscape, boasting impressive sales figures, a massive player base, and numerous accolades.  Black Ops 6, released last year, continued this trend with significant commercial success and widespread acclaim among fans.

Originally slated for a March 20 release, Season 3 for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone was recently pushed back to April 3 by publisher Activision.  Despite the delay, exciting details about the upcoming season have emerged, including the return of Verdansk, Warzone's original map, and the reintroduction of popular weapons like the HDR and Grau 5.6.

The delay, though disappointing for many, might be mitigated by the introduction of the new multiplayer playlist, Endurance Moshpit.

Officially announced by Treyarch, Endurance Moshpit launched on March 7 and features 6v6 respawn modes with extended time and score limits.  This change offers players more opportunities to achieve the coveted nuke strike, which requires 30 consecutive kills without dying.

Treyarch's announcement also teased the upcoming Clover Craze Event, starting March 13, promising a variety of enticing rewards.

Scoring a nuke is a challenging feat in Black Ops 6, typically demanding a flawless performance.  However, the extended time and score limits in Endurance Moshpit provide greater margin for error, increasing the likelihood of achieving a nuke and potentially leading to significantly higher kill counts compared to standard matches.

Season 2 Reloaded for Black Ops 6 and Warzone went live on February 20. The St. Patrick’s Day-themed Clover Craze Event will run through the end of the season, allowing players to collect clovers across various game modes to earn rewards like a Wildcard and Battle Pass Tokens.

Activision attributed the Season 3 delay to the need to ensure a smooth and successful launch for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, emphasizing the significance of this season and their commitment to meeting player expectations.  In the meantime, players can enjoy the increased opportunities for high kill counts and nuke strikes in the new Endurance Moshpit playlist.
