The world of Pokemon has collided with the automotive industry once again, this time with Honda taking the reins.  In collaboration with The Pokemon Company, Honda has unveiled an extraordinary project: a real-world, rideable Koraidon motorcycle.

Inspired by the legendary Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet, this incredible creation stays true to Koraidon's design and even incorporates its unique movement abilities.  Announced as the "Honda Koraidon Project," the initial reveal showcased detailed close-ups of the motorcycle, highlighting its remarkable resemblance to the in-game character model.

A team of 40 engineers has meticulously crafted this masterpiece, equipping it with cutting-edge technology.  Mimicking Koraidon's Sprinting Build from the game, the motorcycle utilizes Honda's Riding Assist technology, allowing it to balance and "walk" on all fours.

Honda's official press release confirms the Koraidon bike's ability to self-stand on two wheels thanks to the advanced balancing system.  Furthermore, its hands, legs, neck, and facial features dynamically adjust based on the Sprinting Build speed.  Planned additions include moving face, eye, and eyelid components, further enhancing the realism, although these weren't demonstrated in the initial video.

Fans eager to witness this marvel in person can visit the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan, from March 7-9.  While an undeniably impressive feat of engineering, Honda is not the first to venture into Pokemon-themed vehicles.  Last year, Toyota created a real-world Miraidon motorcycle, Koraidon’s futuristic counterpart from Pokemon Violet.

This project follows a trend of bringing Pokemon to life in the automotive world. Previously, Pokemon-themed promotional cars, including a Pikachu VW Beetle and a Lugia-inspired Chrysler PT Cruiser, have been spotted at conventions.  With both mascots from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now having real-world counterparts,  anticipation builds for what innovative creations may emerge from future Pokemon titles.
