WWE 2K25 Roster: A Blend of Current and Former Superstars

WWE 2K25 is set to deliver a stacked roster featuring a mix of current superstars and some surprising alumni.  The game's launch roster promises over 300 playable characters, including alternate versions of iconic wrestlers like The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

The Bloodline takes center stage in WWE 2K25, allowing players to experience the legacy of this Samoan wrestling dynasty.  Step into the ring as Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, The Rock, Rikishi, Yokozuna, and other family members within the game's 2K Showcase mode.

Beyond The Bloodline saga, the extensive roster includes a vast selection of wrestling talent. Pre-ordering the game unlocks additional characters through the Wyatt Sicks DLC, adding even more depth to the impressive lineup.

The dynamic nature of the WWE world means wrestler departures are common.  Interestingly, WWE 2K25 includes some wrestlers who are no longer part of the organization.  This has caught the attention of fans who noticed names like Baron Corbin, whose contract expired last November, included in the launch roster.

Similarly, Indi Hartwell, released from WWE in November, makes her fourth appearance in the WWE 2K series. Other former WWE talents featured in the game include Tegan Nox, Blair Davenport, Giovanni Vinci, Cedric Alexander, Isla Dawn, Sonya Deville, The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), and The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar).

This isn't unprecedented in wrestling games. WWE 2K24 shipped without CM Punk despite his return, and the delayed WWE 2K22 also featured departed superstars.  WWE 2K25 launches on March 14th, giving fans the chance to experience this unique blend of current and former WWE talent.
