New World Compensates Players for Transfer Issues with Valuable In-Game Items

Amazon Game Studios is addressing the transfer issues that disrupted New World gameplay during Season 7.  Players who logged in between January 21 and February 3 will receive compensation for the inconvenience. The developers have worked diligently to resolve the issues and restore a positive player experience.

The transfer issues arose following a major update that unintentionally allowed character transfers between normally restricted worlds. This exploit led to imbalances in trading and PvP, prompting the temporary suspension of affected accounts and server maintenance. While the developers successfully corrected the issue, the disruption caused frustration within the community.

To address the community's concerns, Amazon Game Studios announced compensation for eligible players. Starting February 19th at 9:30 AM PT, players can claim their compensation package through the in-game compensation tab. The distribution process is expected to take up to four hours.

The compensation package includes a Box of Warding, two Combat Boxes, a Premium Food Chest, an Elite Combat Box, and 15,000 Faction Tokens. This offering aims to acknowledge the disruption and provide players with valuable resources to enhance their gameplay.

Players have expressed satisfaction with the compensation, viewing it as a sincere apology for the encountered issues. The developers' proactive approach and commitment to rectifying the situation have been well-received by the community.
